Horse Photoshoot
When you photograph a pair that have grown up together, it’s magical.
It was wonderful to travel to Lancashire recently and photograph Tru and her gorgeous pony Boi.
Boi was Tru’s first pony and since a teanager they have grown to connect with each other and become the most incredible team.
Tru know’s Boi inside out and says despite his 21 years, he does not act his age! He’s a wonderful, cheeky pony, who is very kind – amazing with children and just loves a fuss!
Tru contacted me, as she has experienced so much with Boi, that she wanted their friendship celebrated and to have some beautiful photographs of him. So he’ll never be forgotten.
Tru has ordered some beautiful art work of them both, which I can’t wait for her to receive soon x
A bit about Emma
Emma Campbell is an experienced, award-winning Master Craftsman photographer specialising in horse portraiture. She is a panel member, mentor and judge with the Guild of Photographers. In 2024 and 2025, Emma judged the British Photography Awards. In 2026, Emma will also be judging the UK Print Photography Awards.
