Whether you are new to equine photography or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers invaluable insights to help you capture the beauty of horses and the unique bond they share with their owners.
EQUINE WORKSHOP DETAILS
In a small, friendly group, we’ll cover both technical essentials and harness your creative vision to craft compelling equine portraits. From mastering your cameras settings to composing images that show the personal connection between horse and owner.
The aim of the workshop will be to leave with a portfolio of beautiful images, boost your creativity and passion, as well as offer you practical tools to enhance your first or next equine session.
The first part of the equine workshop will be based at The Guild of Photographers Photohubs in Stoke. We’ll explore paces and capturing horses at the right movement, through to horse behaviour and practical hands-on experience.
The second part will be out on location at a fabulous local stables Acton Hall Equestrian centre, providing an excellent opportunity to work with horses in their natural environment. So please do bring your camera!
EXTRA BONUS
One week after the workshop, there will be an opportunity to reconnect back online for a 90 minute review and critique session with fellow group members’ workshop photographs. During this, Emma will also demonstrate some post-processing basics, share tips for submitting equine images for competition and offer an open Q&A session at the end.
Places are limited – so if you feel this would be great for you – please reserve your booking today!
