What is the UK Photography Print Awards?

In an age where most images live on screens, the UK Photography Print Awards celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of the printed photograph. This international competition recognises outstanding work from photographers who take their vision beyond the digital realm and into the tangible, beautiful world of print.

Whether your passion is landscape, portrait, wildlife, pets, weddings, or any other genre, this competition is open to all photographers – both enthusiasts and professionals from the UK and beyond.

Time is Running Out!

Here’s the important bit: you initially need to submit a digital entry and this closes on 21st December 2025 – that’s just 10 days away!

The judging process works in two stages. First, you submit your digital files and then the finalists will be notified by 2nd January 2026 and invited to submit their printed entries by 31st January. The live print judging will then take place on 6th February in Staffordshire.

My Thoughts on Print

As someone who creates fine art prints and wall art for my clients every day, I know firsthand the transformative power of a beautifully printed photograph. There’s something magical about holding a physical print in your hands – the texture, the depth, the way light plays across the surface. It brings images to life in a way that a screen simply cannot replicate.
