I don’t know quite how to write this post, as I’m still in a state of shock! Last night at the Guild of Photographers Awards, I walked away with the
Image of the Year title !!!!
Out of 16,042 images submitted last year, the judges awarded Blakerigg (the gorgeous thoroughbred below) as their Image of the Year for 2020!!!
The night may have been virtual – but The Guild Of Photographers had created a wonderful evening! Thank you to everyone at The Guild, to my mentor Kevin Pengelly https://pengelly-photography.co.uk/, and to Rachel Bastow, Kelly Gale and Brian Harding, for helping me make this photograph possible xx
The photograph also took Equine Photograph of the Year.
Absolutely can’t believe it! I also took a top ten place in International Pet Photographer of the Year, and achieved my Photographers Bar for a third year running.
