Part 2 – Hands on in Photoshop!
This is the second part blog post on how to create black backgrounds for your horse photographs.
If you haven’t read the first blog post, I recommend, clicking here and scanning that first. It provides a great way to set your horse or horse and owner up perfectly, to make it easier for you to do this next step.

Black should not be black
I keep calling this a black background, but actually it’s not! What we want is a slightly off black, so that it can print well. A true jet black, just wont do this.
100 different ways
There is also a hundred different ways to achieve this look and this post is going to show you one of the ways to get a black background with the horse. But I do hope these video’s below will help and guide you, to creating some beautiful work for your portfolio.
