Meet the photographer
As a Fell pony owner, Emma understands about the special and unique connection that you build with your horse.
Having completed a BSc Equine Science and Business degree in the 90’s and taught at one of the UK’s oldest running BHS/ABRS riding schools, Emma also has over 35 years of photography experience.
She was one of the first in the UK to be awarded by The Guild of Photographers, a Master Craftsman for Equine Photography, and 2024, Emma became a Panel Member, Judge and Mentor with The Guild.
Award Winning photographer, Emma has won Equine Image of the Year and Image of the Year with the Guild, as well as her work been placed internationally. She is also a judge for The British Photography Awards and for the UK Print Photography Awards.
In 2026, Emma spoke at the National Equine Show and The Photography Show.

• Your portraits will be viewed, chosen, and your wall art selected and purchased during your personal design consultation
• All wall art is handmade and completely bespoke to you, and digital portrait collections are also available
• Collections start from £495, (with your £100 studio credit applied)
• Travel is included for locations within 2 hours of Penrith, Cumbria. If you’re further afield, I’ll be happy to provide a personalised quote
• A 0% interest payment plan is available, allowing you to spread the cost over 3, 6, or 12 months
• This experience is offered as a standalone promotion and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers
