Horse photography from the heart

Due to past experiences, I’ve always created her horse photography from the heart.

Photographing clients horses and ponies is very personal to me.  As a Fell pony owner, I know how much my Louie means to me.  He’s always there when I need him and particularly through recent challenging times; he adds calmness to my day, fun and companionship. But I’m also mindful, that our special times won’t last forever.

In my twenties, I lost my first pony Piper (pictured below) to Cushings disease. He was only 17.  This is the only image I have left of him and me together. The quality is poor and the size small.  It was then I realised the hard way, the importance of having quality photographs to keep forever.

Capturing memories

So today, I’m often capturing many moments with Louie on my phone, but I also make sure I photograph him using my professional cameras too. Why? So that I can produce beautiful wall art of him for my home and enjoy his memories forever. Something my phone just can’t do. With my Equine Photography Business, it is an absolute honour to help horse owners capture their relationship with their special horses and keep memories forever. ❤️ Emma x
