Emma returns to Join the Judging Panel – British Photography Awards

British Photography Awards - Emma Campbell Horse photographer - 2024 Judge

British Photography Awards

This September sees me once again joining the panel of judges for The British Photography Awards (BPA).

The national photography competition, which closes for entries on 31st August, always attracts an incredible range of work within its many categories, including macro, portrait, wedding, sports, pet, fashion, architecture, and much more.

Within my role as a judge, it’s such a privilege to see the passion and dedication in the work that is submitted.  Images are powerful, but especially so when the photographer has put their whole heart, soul, time and dedication into creating their work.  I never tire of admiring the commitment and the passion of fellow photographers.

And, I fundamentally believe that competitions can play an important role in helping individuals push their craft and develop.  Each one of us is on a continual, personal learning journey – so to everyone who participated, huge congratulations.

And many thanks to Hugo Donnithorne-Tait for inviting me to judge once again. I hope my small part has helped to continue the brilliant work the BPA does for nurturing British talent from around the world and raising funds for some amazing charities at the same time.
