There’s no pressure for perfection, no need for anything to be ‘just right’ – just space to be together, in a place that feels familiar, creating portraits that reflect your bond and connection, in a real and beautiful way.
As a Master Craftsman photographer with 32 years of experience working with horses, as well as an international award winning equine photographer, you can relax knowing, Emma will create beautiful and bespoke portraits that will mean everything to you.

As a Fell pony owner, Emma understands about the special and unique connection that you build with your horse.
Having completed a BSc Equine Science and Business degree in the 90’s and taught at one of the UK’s oldest running BHS/ABRS riding schools, Emma also has over 35 years of photography experience.
She was one of the first in the UK to be awarded by The Guild of Photographers, a Master Craftsman for Equine Photography, and 2024, Emma became a Panel Member, Judge and Mentor with The Guild.
Award Winning photographer, Emma has won Equine Image of the Year and Image of the Year with the Guild, as well as her work been placed internationally. She is also a judge for The British Photography Awards and for the UK Print Photography Awards.
In 2026, Emma spoke at the National Equine Show and The Photography Show.

• Your session fee is £135 (usually £435)
• Portraits will be viewed, chosen, and your wall art selected and purchased during your personal design consultation
• All wall art is handmade and completely bespoke to you, and digital portrait collections are also available
• Collections start from £495, (with your £100 studio credit applied)
• Travel is included for locations within 2 hours of Penrith, Cumbria. If you’re further afield, I’ll be happy to provide a personalised quote
• A 0% interest payment plan is available, allowing you to spread the cost over 3, 6, or 12 months
• This experience is offered as a standalone promotion and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers

Emma Campbell is a Master Craftsman horse portrait photographer based in Cumbria.
Her work covers the whole of the North of England, (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Cheshire and Northumberland) as well as, the Southern/Borders Scotland.
